Fliki vs InVideo (2026): Text-to-Video Generator or AI Video Editor?
Fliki vs InVideo compared: text-to-video and AI voices vs a timeline editor with generative models, credits, seats, plans and October 2026 pricing.
On this page
Fliki and InVideo both promise to make video with AI, but they start from different places. Fliki starts from text: a script, a blog post, a slide deck or an idea becomes a narrated video with AI voices, visuals and subtitles. InVideo starts from the editor: a full timeline with multiplayer editing, colour, audio and 3D tools, combined with generative image and video models and AI agents.
This comparison is based on both companies' official pricing and feature pages, checked on 20 October 2026. We haven't produced the same video in both tools, so there are no invented quality scores or "winners by points".
Quick verdict
- Choose Fliki if you want to turn written content into narrated videos quickly, with a large voice library, voice cloning, avatars and dubbing, and without editing skills.
- Choose InVideo if you edit footage yourself or with a team, and want generative video and image models inside a timeline editor.

Features compared
Creating a video from text
This is Fliki's core workflow. Paste text, a blog URL or slides, and it writes or splits the script, picks visuals, adds voiceover, music and subtitles. InVideo's AI agents can also generate videos, but its pricing page puts the emphasis on the editor and on generative models such as image and video generation.
Voices and languages
Fliki is built around voice: 2,000+ voices advertised across 80+ languages, voice cloning from Standard, multi-voice dialogues and dubbing. If narration quality and language coverage matter most, Fliki covers them directly. InVideo's pricing page doesn't highlight voice features, so check its feature pages if you need specific voice options.
Editing
InVideo includes a full timeline editor on every plan, including Starter, with colour, audio and 3D tools and multiplayer editing. Fliki offers a scene-based editor plus helpers such as auto-trimming silences and filler words, subtitles, a video clipper and resizing that follows the speaker. If you cut your own footage in detail, InVideo's timeline is the closer fit.
Avatars
Fliki offers stock AI avatars (limited on Standard, all on Premium), photo avatars on Premium and a digital twin of yourself. InVideo's pricing page doesn't list avatars as a plan feature.
Teams
InVideo is priced per seat and lists multiplayer editing from Starter (up to 5 seats) to Max (up to 20). Fliki prices per user, with team collaboration and branded templates on Enterprise.
Credits
Both run on credits. Fliki charges by the length of audio and video generated. InVideo charges per generation, with different costs per model, and unused credits don't roll over. With either tool, start small and measure how many credits a typical video uses.
Which should you choose?
- Bloggers and marketers repurposing articles: Fliki, because blog-to-video is its main use case.
- Faceless YouTube and TikTok channels: both can work. Fliki if you want voice-led videos from scripts, InVideo if you want to edit generated clips in a timeline.
- Teams editing together: InVideo, with multiplayer editing and per-seat plans.
- Training videos from decks: Fliki's PPT-to-video workflow, or an avatar-focused tool. See our best AI video tools guide.

Our verdict (researched, not yet hands-on)
These two tools overlap less than the "vs" suggests. Fliki is a text-to-video and voice tool: the fastest route from written content to a narrated video. InVideo is an editor with generative AI built in: the better fit if you want control over a timeline and to work with a team. If your content starts as text, start with Fliki's free plan. If it starts as footage, try InVideo.
