AI video tools now cover very different jobs. Some turn a blog post or script into a narrated video with stock footage. Some put a realistic AI avatar in front of the camera. Others give you a full timeline editor with generative models, or focus purely on voice. Picking "the best" depends on what you need to publish.

This guide compares five well-known tools by use case, based on each vendor's official pricing and feature pages, checked in October 2026. We haven't produced test videos with these tools for this article, so there are no invented quality scores. Instead, we match each tool to the job it's built for and list what each plan includes.

1. Fliki: best for turning text into narrated videos

Free plan (720p, watermark)

What it is: Fliki creates videos from ideas, scripts, blog posts or PowerPoint files. It combines AI voices with stock images, video clips and music, and can generate AI images and thumbnails. Fliki says it supports 80+ languages in 100+ dialects and has 14M+ users (its own figure).

Plans:

  • Free: 3 credits a month, 300 voices, 720p exports with a Fliki watermark. No card required.
  • Standard: 180 credits a month, 1,000 voices (500 "ultra-realistic"), 1080p, videos up to 15 minutes, voice cloning, limited stock avatars, and commercial rights.
  • Premium: 600 credits a month, 2,000+ voices, videos up to 40 minutes, AI video clips and photo avatars, all AI avatars, multiple voice clones, brand kits and API access.

Pricing: Fliki's own materials list Standard at $252 per year (about $21/month billed yearly). On the pricing page, monthly prices are shown in your local currency, and yearly billing is 25% off. Credits are used per minute of audio or video generated, so editing a script and regenerating uses more credits.

Choose it if: you want to repurpose articles, scripts or slides into videos with voiceover quickly, without filming or editing skills.
